When Dr. Hadgis is creating a smile makeover, he makes sure to have your input and approval at every step of the process. If you don't LOVE your new smile, Dr. Hadgis will work to make changes until you do. Once your veneers or crowns are bonded on, they can only be minimally changed (rounded or shortened slightly), and so you need to make sure you are very clear about whether or not you are happy with your smile during each phase of the smile makeover process.

Smile Makeover Process

Through consultations, you and Dr. Hadgis will determine together what you want your new smile to be. This is the smile design portion of the smile makeover process, and this is when you and Dr. Hadgis will consider factors such as your age, gender, and what you want your smile to convey to the people in your life.

When your smile design is determined, Dr. Hadgis will create what is called a "wax-up", which you will also be able to examine and make changes to, if necessary. From the wax-up, Dr. Hadgis will create a temporary smile for you, which you can also use to make very sure that your permanent smile makeover is everything you want it to be. Dr. Hadgis does all the wax-up and temporary work himself, so there is no chance of your wishes being miscommunicated to a third party lab technician. When you have approved the design of the temporary smile, Dr. Hadgis will order your permanent veneers/crowns.

Finally, when your permanent smile arrives, you have one last chance to make any necessary changes before Dr. Hadgis bonds the new smile to your teeth. As you can see, Dr. Hadgis makes every possible effort to make sure you absolutely love your new smile.
